About
At AFRICA CLEAN S.A., we firmly believe that every action counts to protect our planet. Our approach is based on three fundamental pillars: the quality of our services, the safety of our employees and our facilities, and respect for the environment. These commitments are translated into concrete actions, which we implement through our innovative projects and sustainable development initiatives.
History and Mission

AFRICA CLEAN S.A. was born in 2013 thanks to the vision of its founder, Mr Dieudonné Laval, who understood early on the importance of offering sustainable solutions to waste management. What began as a company specialising in the collection of used oil is now a key leader in Central Africa, with a broad offering encompassing waste collection, treatment, recycling and recovery.
Chronology of key stages:
- 2013: Creation of the company and specialisation in the collection of black oil.
- 2015: Integration of new waste disposal regulations and expansion into hazardous industrial waste (HIW).
- 2016: Development of innovative recovery processes and strengthening of strategic partnerships with SMEs.
- 2017: Adoption of QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) standards and launch of an ambitious sustainable development programme.
Today: With 10 collection platforms, 1 treatment centre and a turnover of XAF 100 million by 2023, AFRICA CLEAN S.A. is a model of excellence in waste management in Africa.
Mission
Our mission is clear: to offer innovative and sustainable waste management solutions, while protecting natural resources and minimising environmental impact. We firmly believe that a cleaner future requires active collaboration between businesses, local authorities and civil society.
